Hello, I'm Tom and I am a Hampshire-based filmmaker. I adore visuals and immersing them into a story. I strive to create high quality content of various subject matters.
I studied BA (Hons) Film Production at the University of Portsmouth and have used this opportunity to further my skills, particularly around Postproduction and Cinematography. I am now trained using industry standard cameras and proficient in industry software such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
I have had opportunities to edit and film some small-scale projects, developing as an editor and improving my camera skills. My most notable experience is offline editing for Online Fishing TV (a streaming service of high quality angling films). I have also been highly involved shooting content, filming a lot of my own content as well as weddings and musical events. For my final year at university I worked on two graduate films, editing on my main project and being a 1st AC and Colourist on another.
My inspiration has largely come from short films and programmes on wildlife and natural history. As well as being a keen angler, I am also an avid birdwatcher and wildlife enthusiast and hope to also be able to immerse myself in creating more projects based around my interests.
